Either virus or bacterial infection giving rise to different types of skin rashes mostly affects children’s skin. However, in most of the cases rashes disappears without any medication yet once you notice any kind of child skin rashes it is always better to consult your family doctor because in certain cases a rash may be an indication of some serious illness like measles, small pox and even Lyme disease. Moreover, child skin is so soft that it becomes vulnerable to those rashes.

Common causes of child skin rashes
However, it is difficult to state the exact cause of skin rashes in children because depending on the skin of your child and the hereditary factor, your child may suffer from a wide variety of skin rashes at different stages. Sometimes the child may meet certain plants, which in turn causes those itchy spots on the skin while in other cases chemical or metallic reactions when your child touches any product made of metal may be the cause of rashes.
Though these factors are avoidable if we take bit of more care and do not allow your children to encounter such factors, yet there are another set of factors, which are responsible for rashes. In addition, these factors are sometimes not easy to recognize, like your child may get rashes from certain food, but it might take long before you actually know that a certain food is causing the problem.
On the other hands, soaps and body creams of your child too may be containing some of the chemicals, responsible for the rashes. Therefore, before using any soap on the child skin, be careful of its ingredients. In fact, mosquito bites and stings too sometimes results in skin rashes, hence it is better to protect your baby from the mosquitoes and other external parasite stings.
